Salary: $100k - $145k depending on experience.
Senior Traffic Engineer - Responsibilities
- Providing Traffic Engineering and Public Works Engineering support to multiple municipalities.
- Utilizing excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders, including elected officials and the public.
- Managing Capital Improvement projects and programs.
- Engaging in Transportation grant processes.
- Overseeing Traffic Engineering and Planning projects, including traffic data analysis, engineering and safety studies, signing and marking, traffic control plans, corridor studies and transit plans.
- Utilizing knowledge of Federal and State design standards.
- Other municipal engineering duties as assigned.
- 5 years experience as an Engineer within a municipal Public Works department
- Valid PE (California preferred)
