Web Operations Manager

Do you want to work with a group of badass designers, technologists, and writers to create innovative web-based business systems? We are seeking a strong team leader to help lead the growth of our technology team. This position plays a vital role in designing and developing technology solutions that can digitally transform our client’s businesses. 

The ideal candidate possesses a well-rounded technical and business acumen and the leadership skills to work effectively across multiple projects. The candidate will be responsible for leading technology projects, as well as continually expanding the capabilities of our technology solutions and business offering.

The Web Operations Manager will work collaboratively with developers and key creatives to understand the dynamics of business processes, write business requirements and participate in or lead the project management of front-end and back-end design of websites and software applications. You’ll work on multiple client accounts in varying industries and solve big and small challenges that directly impact a client’s business.

You understand how to motivate, develop, and promote technical experts and future leaders. 

• A Tech Translator – You’ll interact with our team members and clients, each with varying degrees of technical experience. You enjoy helping connect the dots for account managers and helping a client see how technology can provide a breakthrough business solution. You also have experience in estimating and recommending alternate solutions to solving technical problems.

• An Entrepreneurial Spirit – Our company is in a growth mode, so you need to be scrappy and strategic. You have experience and high proficiency in Microsoft technology stack, marketing technology platforms, analytic platforms, and G-suite. You are passionate about digging into a development project and a forward-looking approach to championing new software and methodology. 

THE DETAILS

Position Responsibilities Include:

• Client-facing, tech consulting
• Research, architect, and implement solutions for complex client systems
• Technology audit and assessments
• Build business requirements and development plans
• Estimate scope of work and resource plan
• Timeline and budget management
• Experience in running agile and waterfall dev ops projects
• Website and buyer journey mapping 
• Lead and the development of websites, web applications, and MarTech integrations
• Q/A and test web functionality and optimize performance 
• Provides training and support on web technologies to clients
• Verifies that work performed meets standards for quality and security
• Work with databases, hosting, and cloud solutions both maintaining, creating, and configuring them
• Enough programming experience to confidently push development roadblocks or jump in to support the team

REQUIREMENTS

• 5 years in a position that included resource planning, estimating, hiring, and performance management 
• 10 years of leading web development, MarTech integrations, and maintenance experience in a professional work environment
• Experience in writing technical specifications and user journeys
• Experience in researching technology solutions and making recommendations
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Great communication and organizational skills
• Understanding of security and data protection
• Knowledge of code versioning tools (Git, DevOps, SVN)
• Experience with testing tools such as Jest, Jasmine, etc.
• Any experience with Data Visualization tools or analytics dash-boarding is a bonus
