Recruit Secure is Hiring a Billing Specialist Near Borough Park, NY
Recruit Secure is collaborating with a very large and prestigious Home Healthcare company based in the Borough Park area of Brooklyn that is seeking a Billing Coordinator for direct hire. The Billing Coordinator will be responsible for billing and invoicing for services to clients and insurance companies. The successful candidate will have experience with invoicing, resolving billing issues, validating billing accuracy, entering data into billing software, and having the ability to run reports. Additionally, the Billing Coordinator should have experience in problem-solving and communicating within the team and interdepartmentally.
This is a full-time position and reports to the Billing and Payroll Supervisor. It is a Monday-Friday schedule (9:00 – 5:00 p.m., on-site (Friday afternoon may be shorter.). Candidates should live in close proximity to Borough Park. Qualifications:
- At least 1 – 2 years of experience in a Billing department.
- Experience with medical billing and /or Home Healthcare – a big plus
- Familiarity with billing software – (we are willing to train on our software).
- Good documentation skills and knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
