Recover-Care West is seeking motivated, compassionate individuals to grow into Certified Nurse Aides in our conveniently located classroom in Loveland, Colorado.

We have communities in Fort Collins, Greeley, Windsor, Loveland, Longmont, Denver, and the Eastern Plains waiting for you.

The Healthcare Technician will have a home facility assigned to them while they assist with basic healthcare tasks in a skilled nursing facility and await class and to ensure the world of healthcare is right for them. Once in class, all of your time 100% compensated, while you learn the basics of patient care. At the end of class, you will have the skills necessary to become a licensed Certified Nurse Aide and will return to your home facility ready to begin your new journey.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Helps residents maintain a neat, orderly, and comfortable room by making beds, assisting with clothing, filling water pitcher, etc.

• Assists residents in moving through the facility by pushing wheelchair.

• Makes up unoccupied beds.

• Responds to call lights to determine residents' needs.

• Assist with the resident dining process.

• Provides companionship to residents.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS

• Sufficient education to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.

Shift work may be required. Employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands or fingers, reach with hands and arms, feel, talk and hear. Employee is occasionally exposed to blood or other body fluids, fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.
