Description

Summary of Description:

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist performs duties of a highly technical nature in recruiting and sourcing for ReCon and clients of ReCon. This includes using online recruiting sources to source talent, schedule interviews with clients, onboarding new employees, and working with the HR Manager and Supervisor in developing effective recruiting strategies.

Duties:

  • Leads the recruiting efforts for ReCon Management and associated clients.
  • Leverages networking and online recruiting resources (social networks, professional organizations, trade groups) and uses applicant tracking system to identify and recruit the best candidates.
  • Attracts, interviews, and qualifies applicants for all open positions.
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  • Conducts interview of candidates, which could include the use of face-to-face behavioral-based interviewing methodologies.
  • Coordinate the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
  • Manages and coordinates all communication with candidates including scheduling and logistics of interviews.
  • Maintains accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates and other recruiting activities to ensure a compliant and thorough audit.
  • Provides complete, accurate, and inspiring information to candidates about the positions including job descriptions and departmental information.
  • Collaborates with the hiring manager during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
  • Coordinates the presentation, selection, offer, negotiation, closing, and administrative components involved in employment lifecycle recruiting.
  • Ensure compliance with federal state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Stays informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques to be competitive in state-of-the-art recruiting practices.
  • Ensures job descriptions are up-to-date and in compliance.
  • Collaborates with HR management to determine key metrics for recruitment, salary assessment and provides reporting on a designated basis.
  • Coaches and mentors junior team members.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or a related field preferred with at least (5) five years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.

License Requirements:

  • Valid Driver’s License as per State law or requirement.
  • Prefer SHRM-CP

Specific Skills:

  • Maintaining and updating records.
  • Preparing written reports and experience with developing and interpreting key metrics.
  • Vast experience with common HRIS (Human Resource Information System), preferably Paylocity.
  • Using computers and related software applications with proficiency in Word, Excel, and Power Point.
  • Utilizing customer service principles.
  • Utilizing analytical and research methods for networking and recruitment.
  • Employment cycle recruiting.
  • Strong interviewing practices.
  • Strong persuasion and negotiation skills.
  • Creating and implementing sourcing strategies for a variety of roles.
  • Understanding and interpreting Human Resources principles and practices.
  • Applying applicable laws, rules, regulations, and codes.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to reach, stand, walk, finger, grasp, feel, talk, hear, see and to perform repetitive motions.
  • Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
