RECON MANAGEMENT SERVICES INC is Hiring an Accounts Receivable Clerk Near Sulphur, LA

Description:

ReCon Engineering and Management Services is seeking candidates for an Accounts Receivable (AR) Clerk position. This position will be a part-time (30 hours/week), direct hire position at a local industry in Southwest Louisiana.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing A/R by coding and applying payments accurately to customer accounts and general ledger.
  • Reviewing receivables for accuracy and make contact with customers who are in arrears.
  • Scanning relevant documents into LaserFiche.
  • Reconciling monthly credit card reports and receipts.
  • Serve as back-up to the A/P clerk, as needed.
  • Serve as back-up to the receptionist, as needed.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, thorough, self-motivated, disciplined, flexible, patient and possess spontaneous decision capabilities.
  • Capable of promoting teamwork within the department and in coordination with other departments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-management, initiative and individual judgment is expected.

Requirements

Experience/Training/Education:

  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Associate degree in Accounting or related fields or currently enrolled.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Experience in Microsoft Dynamics, a plus.
