Job Description
We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team! You will conduct tests and visual inspections to determine the quality of materials and finished products as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection as required by the customer’s specifications.
- Ensure that all required testing is completed and documented.
- Ensure that packaging will protect the parts from damage in shipping or internal handling.
- Assess that work instructions were followed and signed off.
- Assist in the preparation and conduct of monthly testing.
- Measuring plating thickness.
- Maintain a well-organized, clean, and neat work area.
- Be a resource for continuous improvement projects.
Skills
- Be familiar with specifications and regulations and be able to read and interpret them.
- General measuring tools-micrometers, calipers; XRF and eddy current thickness devices; oven chart operations; lot testing; high humidity testing; blueprint reading; conductivity testing.
- Previous work experience in quality control or other related fields
- 2 years’ experience working in an aerospace quality function desired.
Qualifications:
- Previous work experience in quality control or other related fields
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
