Reciprocity is Hiring a Sales Development Manager Near Austin, TX

Job Description: 

As the Sales Development Leader, you will be responsible for effectively managing a team of SDRs fanatically focused on outbound opportunity generation and coaching them to be our next group of Account Executives. The ideal candidate has experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth SaaS business managing large and growing teams. You should be a passionate people leader who wants to build a positive team culture with a focus on success both for our individual employees and our customers.

This will be a hybrid role, based in our Austin office at 2301 W Anderson Ln., Austin, TX 78757. The expectation is that you and your team will be in the office 90% of the time during onboarding as you learn the product, market, and sales motion, shifting to 2-3 days per week in the office post onboarding.

What you will get to do:

  • Hire, train, and manage a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) focused on creating and qualifying leads, setting up prospective customer meetings, and partnering with sales to drive business.
  • Lead day-to-day operations and reporting to drive team accountability.
  • Drive strategy, vision, and scale for the team to support the goals of the sales organization, especially scalable infrastructure and operations to support our high growth goals.
  • Develop a successful formula and career progression and develop team members to grow into successful Sales Executives
  • Analyze business and industry trends and implement best practices to keep the team ahead of the curve.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to establish inbound and outbound lead generation that is aligned with sales goals and marketing initiatives.
  • Work closely with Sales Operations to establish, enforce, and improve team efficiency, effectiveness, and reporting.

What we are looking for:

  • 3-5 years of success building, leading, and managing a team of BDRs, SDRs, or inside sales professionals in a B2B technology company.
  • Proven ability to think strategically while driving operational excellence, and influence cross-functionally to drive results.
  • A deep level of experience in sales development best practices and developing, coaching, and mentoring sales development teams.
  • Outstanding leadership skills with experience recruiting, coaching and retaining high-quality Sales Development Representatives while also developing career progression plans in conjunction with other functional areas of the company
  • A track record of thriving in an entrepreneurial and self-starting environment leveraging your creativity, insight, and intellect.
  • Outstanding organization, time management, and analytical skills.
  • High level of business acumen with strategic, relationship, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and analytical with a high clock speed with an ability to thrive in a high-growth startup and juggle many balls at one time.
  • BA/BS degree required, MBA a plus, and a sense of humor is an absolute must.
