Recipharm Laboratories is Hiring a Laboratory Technician Near Morrisville, NC

We are looking for a new member to join our dynamic Analytical Testing Group as a technician. The Analytical Testing Group supports our customers in developing inhaled and nasal products such as metered dose inhalers, dry powder inhalers, nebulizers, soft mist inhalers, and nasal dosage forms. You will support analysts by performing duties that will directly increase efficiency and productivity in the analytical and formulation groups.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Functionality on instruments daily and weekly (balances, pipettes, pH meter, water system)
- Lab cleaning and documentation of cleaning
- Sample and chemical receipt
- Washing and storage of clean glassware
- Removing expired chemicals from laboratories
- Keeping rinse solutions within expiry
- Potential for solution and standard preparations
- Performing inventory for general laboratory supplies and chemicals
- Confers with vendors to obtain product or service information, such as price, availability, and delivery schedule.
- Purchasing and maintaining supplies within laboratory, office and general spaces
- Discusses defective or unacceptable goods or services with vendors and takes appropriate action.
- Perform various company errands including arranging or pick-up of deliveries for group meetings.
- Act as liaison for maintenance and repair of vending machines and mail room copy machine.
- Maintains procurement records, such as items or services purchased, costs, delivery, product quality or performance, and inventories.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- HS Diploma with 3 years of relevant experience or entry level with BS in chemistry, biological sciences, pharmaceutical sciences
- GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
- Verbal and written communication skills
