Realplay is Hiring a Remote Business Development Specialist

The ideal candidate is a motivated, organized, and creative individual who welcomes the challenges of acquiring and developing new business through sales efforts. You will assist VP of Business Development and Sales in identifying meaningful sales leads, initiating communications with those leads by phone and email, building key customer relationships, and closing business deals, while maintaining an extensive knowledge of current market conditions. 

Responsibilities

  • Assist VP in identifying relevant prospects/leads for sales pipeline and research/organize lead information effectively in CRM
  • Initiate and follow up with leads by phone and email further to developing strong business relationships with customers representing facilities, tournament organizers, teams, coaches and other entities in the baseball/softball marketplace
  • Support VP in identifying new opportunities and delivering innovative solutions to customers
  • Assist VP in researching lists of high potential prospects further to developing innovative market strategies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, preferably in sports-related industry
  • 1 years' of successful sales or account management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with PipeDrive or comparable CRM application
