ABOUT THE TEAM

RealPage is a leading global provider of software and data analytics for the real estate industry.

The Asset & Investment Management team makes software for real estate companies to collect and report on their operational and financial data.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage a team of engineers
• Manage the process for hiring and onboarding new engineers
• Review pulls requests and coach engineers
• Ensure the release process is documented and all engineers are trained on the process
• Improve the overall applications health, monitoring process and communication process.
• Conduct 1-on-1s and biannual performance reviews
• Prioritize tech debt and system upgrades
• Not expected to regularly write code

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

• 12 years of experience in software engineering
• Experience managing engineers
• Experience with ASP.NET
• Experience with front-end JavaScript frameworks
• Experience with SQL databases, ETL, Data integration, API, reporting and dashboards.
• Experience with Azure DevOps/Pipeline, and Agile process etc.
• Fluent written and spoken English
