You’ll be a member of RealPage’s Marketing Strategy Team, whose members work directly with the sales organization and whose primary focus is to define the marketing strategy to achieve the business objectives for their respective segments/verticals. WHAT YOU’LL DO:

If you love the Big Apple, this is for you! We are hiring a Senior Marketing Strategist to support our New York/Urbran Markets sales teams by developing and managing marketing initiatives. Our team has recently restructured to be more customer centric and better align with our sales and company focus areas. Senior Leadership is extremely supportive and excited about this realignment. This is a high visibility role and focus area. Investment Management is a hot topic with extreme potential and opportunity due to our solution which is a market differentiator. In this role, you will develop a comprehensive marketing plan including targets, focus areas, prioritized programs and levers and budget allocation. Working directly with internal stakeholders, you will develop a deep understanding of the business, objectives, market trends, and buyers to ultimately develop marketing strategies that create differentiation and drive closed sales. You must be able to clearly define campaign strategies, goals, target audience, and be adept at articulating personas that help drive creative messaging and approach. You will work directly with the campaign team who will drive the development and execution of the individual program elements.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Work closely with sales leadership and team members to fully understand business goals, sales priorities and focus areas
  • Work with product marketing, events and campaign marketers to develop and execute strategic marketing plans for your business segment
  • Understand and have experience with marketing a product or solution including marketing strategy, planning and execution, positioning, messaging, sales enablement, and reporting results.
  • Effectively work within a cross-functional, matrixed team environment
  • Ensure consistency of messaging and positioning across all mediums.
  • Present plans and results to sales teams and executives.
  • Responsible for driving awareness, demand and delivering quality leads
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • 8-10 years marketing experience; real estate industry experience/knowledge is a plus.
  • Strategic planning – ability to translate end goals into actionable plans. Proven track record driving new strategies and programs within an organization
  • Critical thinking – ability to understand business objectives, assess market opportunities, determine likelihood of success and prioritize resources
  • Sales and customer focus – understand sales priorities and motions; be able to articulate customer pain points and our value proposition
  • Results and action oriented - analyze and report on results to sales teams, pivot as needed based on demand and performance
  • Experience developing B2B content, email campaign strategies, video scripts, articles, strategic communications, sales collateral, and more.
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to manage multiple projects within strict time frames and deadlines.
  • Enthusiastic and collaborative with solid emotional intelligence.
  • Excellent command skills with experience presenting to executive-level leaders.
  • High integrity, energy, and a desire to work in a results-oriented, fast growth environment
  • Ability to clearly communicate results, key learnings, and areas of opportunities
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • Industry Experience with B2B, SaaS or subscription-based technology companies and/or Real Estate Related Industry (particularly Real Estate in New York City).
  • Degree in Marketing preferred
  • Experience with ABM (account-based marketing) is a plus.
  • MBA preferred, but not required.
