For more information, please visit www.centerbridge.com.JOB FUNCTIONS:The Staff Accountant will be a critical part of the Title Resources Guaranty Company underwriting accounting team and ensuring the accounting department’s overriding goals of accuracy and providing timely, relevant information are achieved. He/she will collaborate across several groups of the business to support both short- and long-term business objectives and ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles. Responsibilities:

• Daily interaction with Accounting Manager, Director of Finance and local accounting staff to provide financial analysis and accounting support, both solicited and unsolicited, offers meaningful insight into the business

• Responsible for financial close activities including the month-end close process, preparing journal entries, preparing monthly financial statements, analytical review of income statement, variance analysis of actual financial results, consolidated reporting & roll forward preparation

• Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations

• Review and communication of outstanding Aging Balances with Agency Reps/Agents

• Provide support for audits of TRG

• Specific quarterly and year-end accounting functions include preparation of reporting schedules for Corporate Finance, prepare tax packages for Corporate Tax

• Proactively raise issues to management regarding financial or operational metrics

• Identify opportunities to improve on financial processes

• Effectively handle new assignments and projects on an ad hoc basis

The ideal candidate must understand accrual basis accounting, be extremely detail oriented and organized, be able to analyze financial statements and effectively communicate results to management, have strong problem-solving skills, work independently under stringent reporting deadlines, manage multiple tasks, and effectively mentor staff. Qualification:

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance

• Strong accounting and analytical skills

• CPA or CPA candidate and/or Audit Experience is a plus

• 3 years of accounting/finance experience

• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite with advanced Excel skills

• Ability to multi-task and work independently with limited supervision

• Possess strong task management, attention to detail and prioritization skills

• Ability to follow through on all assigned tasks and take on additional work as needed

• ORACLE and Hyperion experience is a plus
