We convert aluminum scrap and by-products into reusable aluminum metal for a growing number of applications across various industries. Advanced technologies enable us to process a large variety of scrap and dross and reduce the amount of residual waste from aluminum manufacturing that would otherwise end up as landfill.

Responsibilities

Our facility in Sapulpa, OK, is looking for a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support the S&R and Customer Service Departments. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: 

• Check-in all drivers and review paperwork for completeness; notify appropriate personnel of any issues/discrepancies with paperwork.
• Inform all drivers of safety policies to be followed while on-site.
• Communicate with drivers and Shipping and Receiving personnel via radio.
• Review daily appointment schedule at the beginning of each day and share any relevant information with the Shipping and Receiving staff.
• Cross check all load lists against load release for accuracy.
• Cross check all samples pulled by Shipping and Receiving staff for accuracy.
• Cross check all Deox shipments against pickup list and current contracts for accuracy.
• Verify that all incoming and outgoing shipments agree with purchase orders and/or packing slips, including verifying weight is within tolerance.
• Review load material notes and descriptions for accuracy. Complete internal receiving documents and receipt data entry in Oracle.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Highly motivated, goal orientated, ethical, and challenge driven.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to accurately sort, count, and verify items received.
• Basic understanding of warehouse and dock procedures.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and/or inventory software to maintain records, input data, and create reports. 
• Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures in the warehouse and on the loading dock.
