We convert aluminum scrap and by-products into reusable aluminum metal for a growing number of applications across various industries. Responsibilities

The Process Engineer will support and ensure continued Health/Safety and Quality ISO certification compliance in Sapulpa, OK. This is a developmental role that reports directly to the Plant Manager. Ideal candidate will be well-positioned to succeed for career growth within Real Alloy. 

• Evaluate, develop, implement, promote, and continuously improve the effectiveness of facility safety procedures, programs, and systems and integrate such concepts into all applicable aspects of operations. 
• Improve safety performance by continuously increasing a level of awareness in the workplace. Ensure adherence of all employees to the Health and Safety standards, policies, procedures, and programs in a manner that enthusiastically promotes a safet working environment for all employees. 
• Complete internal QMS audits and maintains records of all internal and third-part quality audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings. 
• Conduct process audits in conjunction to identify non-conformance and recommend improvements where necessary. 
• Prepare and conduct QMS Management Reviews and associated documents such as continuous improvement log, matrices, etc. 
• Coordinate and monitor quality control activities to ensure that products comply with defined specifications and standards. 
• Manage document control process, including the approval of changes to documents. 
• Ensure management of change processes are followed for applicable plant changes. 
• Facilitate corrective action and problem resolution process at facility for high impact internal and external safety and quality concerns. 
• Lead creation of new procedures based on current processes and recommend updates as required. 
• Lead implementation of critical procedures and facilitate personnel training.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree preferred in a business, technical, science, or engineering discipline; material sciences or chemistry preferred. 
• Minimum of one to three years previous experience working in a quality, safety, or operations related field.
• Must have strong computer skills with Microsoft Office products. 
• Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to present information clearly and persuasively. 
• Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks and objectives. 
• Ability to successfully manage cross functional teams, and implement improvement within an established schedule, then sustain process improvements. 
• Practical audit and statistical analysis skills. 
• A good working knowledge of problem solving skills, such as: brain storming, fishbone diagrams, control charts, histograms, process analysis, flow charting, FMEA, etc. 
• Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time, if needed.
