What you will Do (Responsibilities):

• Gather and interpret data, analyze results using quantitative and statistical techniques and provide insights and recommendations
• Develop, implement and support databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
• Acquire data from multiple data sources and maintain databases/data systems
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments
• Weekly and month-end reporting of KPIs
• Lead various projects as required
• Responsible for securing savings in line with annual objectives
• Perform inbound load planning activities such as tracking and monitoring shipments and entering of landed costs
• Process load tenders and follow through to ensure load acceptance by designated carriers
• Identify optimal freight solutions and select best mode of transportation to reduce cost position, while focusing on truck utilization and service
• Analyze cost efficiency of existing load configurations on an ongoing basis, implementing efficiencies where appropriate
• Provides support to inbound RFPs and bids
• Management and distribution of department KPI, scorecard and key data points
• Other duties as assigned

What you will Need (Minimum qualifications):

• Minimum Bachelor's degree required in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Engineering or a related field.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, and Google Suite
• Fluent in English (verbal and written).

What you will Need (Desired qualifications):

• Project Management experience or Six Sigma Certification.
• 1-3 years of work experience in a Supply Chain or Business role.

Physical Work Environment: The associate will mainly work in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office. The associate is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, handle or feel, and to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to 30 pounds.

The associate is occasionally in a manufacturing environment and exposed to wet, cold, and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the manufacturing environment is usually loud.
