About the role:

As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will own the testing process from product planning through to deploying to production. You will play a key role in enabling our teams to deliver a high-quality product we can all be proud of. You will be working across several teams to determine what changes need to be built, report issues or risks early, and apply the right test approach for the project.

What you’ll do:

• Collaborate with product and engineering to develop technical expertise and apply it to solve testing challenges across the team.
• Work with other members of the QA team to enhance our existing automation framework and adapt new technologies.
• Mentor and train junior members of the team.
• Review pull requests for other members of the QA team.
• Analyze defects and gaps with the quality of the product to determine how to improve our processes.
• Troubleshoot and debug code.

What you should have:

• 4 years of experience in an object-oriented language.
• 2 years of experience writing queries in SQL, SOQL, or an equivalent language.
• Experience using Selenium or similar UI automation frameworks.
• Experience using Cucumber or similar BDD automation frameworks.
• Experience using git or equivalent version control systems
• Experience testing APIs and UIs for customer facing systems both manually and automated.
• Experience managing test infrastructure and strategy.
• Project management skills and the ability to estimate scope, break down problems into deliverable chunks, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with both members of the technical team and non-technical teams.
• Experience with CI/CD tools ideally Jenkins.
• Testing experience with Salesforce applications and functions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have:

• Proficiency in Java, with good understanding of its ecosystems.
• Experience working and developing in a Unix based (Mac or Linux) environments.
• Experience working with developer centric testing and monitoring tools such as DataDog, Splunk, etc.
• Experience working with consumer financial products (banking, loans, mortgages, credit cards, etc.)
• Any contributions to open-source projects (we love GitHub links!).
