A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A NIGHT SHIFT YARD DRIVER IN FOODSERVICE A Night Shift Yard Driver will manage the movement of equipment loaded nightly for Outbound delivery, yard management, and assisting with all aspects of loading.

NIGHT SHIFT YARD DRIVER JOB DETAILS

• Must be able to work Sunday through Thursday 7pm start until complete
• Shortened Pre-Trip inspection of all equipment that is placed into dock doors for loading
• Pre charging all refrigerated equipment placed in dock doors for loading
• Verifying and adjusting any temperature settings not set at 0 degrees for freezer zone and 36 degrees for cooler and dry zones
• Yard management to include properly staging Outbound loads for departure while ensuring all units are parked in spaces or staged as to not block parking for incoming personnel
• Assisting with all aspects of the Outbound loading process to include cleaning out trailers, loading, loading assistant, and load prep
• Any other duties as assigned

NIGHT SHIFT YARD DRIVER QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Experience driving CMVs, straight trucks, and warehouse equipment. (CDL A preferred but not required).
• Warehouse experience or delivery experience in the food service industry.

• Willingness & adaptability to work 50 hours if needed

Night Shift Yard Drivers are compensated $27 per hour with $200 monthly perfect attendance bonus!
