Overview: The Business Development Manager is responsible for fostering client relationships and expanding business accounts. Their primary goal is to identify opportunities for growth, negotiate deals, and ensure long-term partnerships to drive revenue and achieve organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Market Analysis and Strategy:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential clients in the facility maintenance industry.
  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans aligned with company objectives.

2. Client Acquisition:

  • Identify and engage with potential clients, understanding their facility maintenance needs.
  • Lead the development of proposals, presentations, and contract negotiations to secure new business.

3. Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and identifying opportunities for additional services.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client retention.

4. Sales Pipeline Management:

  • Manage the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track and report on sales activities, pipelines, and outcomes.

5. Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, finance, and marketing, to ensure coordinated efforts and efficient business processes.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the business development team.

6. Industry Networking:

  • Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and stay abreast of industry trends.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner, enhancing its visibility and reputation.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5 years in business development or sales, with a proven track record.
  • Strategic Skills: Strong strategic planning and analytical abilities.
  • Sales Skills: Excellent negotiation and deal-closing skills.
  • Relationship Building: Effective at building and maintaining client and industry relationships.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team Leadership: Experience leading and mentoring sales teams.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adjust to changing market conditions.
  • Results-Oriented: Consistently meets or exceeds sales targets.
  • Customer Focus: Deep understanding of customer needs.
  • Tech Proficiency: Proficient in CRM and digital marketing tools.
