How you’ll shape the future of the Maintenance Department as a Pipefitter: Selects type and size of pipe as well as related materials and equipment such as supports, hangers and hydraulic cylinders according to specifications. Assemble and install a variety of metal and non-metal pipes, tubes and fittings including iron and steel Makes modification to existing piping systems and machinery as needed using diagrams and plant accepted procedures. Completes and maintains specification sheets, PM checklist and other documentation as needed Installs and maintains hydraulic and pneumatic components of machines and equipment such as pumps and cylinders using hand tools and power tools as required.
