Leads and manages the reliability of operations for assigned facility areas to optimize overall mill performance and achieve mill objectives. Scope of responsibility includes A and B pulp mills, and the SVP and Chem prep area. Scope covers all aspects of ongoing operations including safety and housekeeping, quality, production, environmental control, equipment repair and reliability, cost control, chemical and raw material usage, and people management. How you’ll shape the future of the Maintenance Department: The Maintenance Supervisor is to manage his/her assigned area and build respectful relationships with direct reports. Prioritizes maintenance activities to optimize mill operations. Assigns routine maintenance PM work to shift mechanics when operation permits. Maintain equipment via condition based monitoring, maintain equipment reliability (run from outage to outage), troubleshoot and solve issues that are detrimental concerning equipment reliability, assist production counterparts. Promote a healthy, productive, safe working environment for all. You’ll be someone who can bring (minimum experience/skill/requirements/degree): Bachelor’s degree in a technical field desirable. Experience Required: Minimum of 8 years of applicable experience or BS degree and a minimum of 3 years experience. Demonstrated leadership skills and experience supervising reliability teams in a large manufacturing environment.
