Purpose of your position:
The primary purpose as a Raydiant Health Care Human Repources Specialist will perform human resources and payroll processing related functions and assist in the operations of HR functions and duties in multiple care centers by carrying out the responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, onboarding, policy interpretation and implementation, recruitment and employment, labor relations and employment law compliance

As Human Resources Specialist , you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties. Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with Corporate HR Team to:
1. Assists HR Generalist with personnel and all HR related inquiries; advises and assists on current departmental HR procedures related to employee records; coordinate employee engagement activities and act as liaison between departments and staff across multiple care centers.2. Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to employees and managers; creates performance management documentation of such across multiple care centers.3. Assists with the effective and thorough investigations of employee complaints and employee relations issues across multiple care centers.4. Assists in the development of employee reward and recognition efforts across multiple care centers.
5. Oversees the employee on-boarding process to include New Hire Orientation, assimilation into the Company’s culture, mission and core values across multiple care centers.6. Assists in the preparation and review of all employees corrective counseling documentation across multiple care centers.7. Manages unemployment compensation (UC) program at the facility level across multiple care centers, representing the Company at UC hearings.
Working Conditions:
• Works in office areas as well as throughout the facility.• Travel to multiple buildings in the local area.• Moves intermittently during working hours.• Is subject to frequent interruptions.• Is involved with residents, family members, personnel, visitors, government agencies/personnel, etc.,under all conditions/circumstances.• Is subject to hostile and emotionally upset residents, family members, personnel, and visitors.• Works beyond normal working hours, on weekends and holidays, and on other shifts when necessary.• Is subject to callback during emergency conditions (e.g., severe weather, evacuation, post-disaster, etc.).• Attends and participates in continuing educational programs.• Is subject to injury from falls, burns from equipment, odors, etc., throughout the workday, as well asreactions from dust, disinfectants, tobacco smoke, and other air contaminants.• Is subject to exposure to infectious waste, diseases, conditions, etc., including TB and AIDS andHepatitis B viruses.• May be subject to the handling of and exposure to hazardous chemicals.• Communicates with the medical staff, nursing personnel, and other department directors.
Education and Experience
•2 years of experience as HR/ Payroll Administration required•1 years of experience with recruitment and retention required•Effective teamwork and interpersonal skills•Knowledge of administrative practices and procedures as well as laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to employment, wage andhour, and labor relations, etc.•HRIS knowledge with experience with Lawson, ADP and PeopleNet•Must be able to read, write, and speak and English Language.•Exceptional custo
