The Building Maintenance Technician I provides for the well-being and comfort of staff, students, and visitors by maintaining all Rawhide buildings and grounds for work, school, and residence.

Essential Job Functions for Building Maintenance Technician I:

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on products and buildings. 
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions. 
  • Repair and service landscape, electrical, and HVAC systems.

Experience/Skills for Building Maintenance Technician I:

  • 1-2 years of maintenance or relatable experience
  • Experience making structural repairs to buildings
  • General carpentry skills
  • Experience servicing HVAC systems
  • Experience using landscaping tools and machines
