Ravago Americas is Hiring a Contracts Administrator Near Orlando, FL

PURPOSE OF ROLE: Under the supervision of the Contract Specialist, this individual will provide record management services and operational support to the in-house Legal department and Business Unit Managers. Basic responsibilities will include the evaluation, implementation, and maintenance of corporate information management, with an emphasis on corporate record retention and contract intake processing. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Provide oversight and support for the duration of the contracting process, including intake, processing, and tracking standard contracts. Lead administration of the company’s contract lifecycle management software and educate company users on best practices for utilization. Organize, maintain, and manage corporate record retention including commercial agreements, operational documents, supply chain documents, and other records. Develop and maintain improved programs for the distribution, retrieval, and storage of records based on business needs and applicable law. Manage document and commercial agreement intake flow in a timely and accurate manner. Direct the initiative to change from paper to electronic records retention in coordination with the IT department and the Business Unit Managers. Retrieve and organize documents in response to internal requests, audits. Develop a thorough understanding of the contract lifecycle management system and ensure the process remains streamlined and consistent across the organization. Perform related duties and responsibilities as required. KNOWLEDGE / QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE 2 or more years of experience in a similar role Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certification Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs Thorough understanding of e-signature software systems Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage and prioritize several projects simultaneously Ability to work well with individuals at all levels of the organization Adaptable to change in a fast-paced work environment Receptive to process and policy changes within the Legal department Ability to proactively approach and identify needs and develop solutions Use discretion and maintain confidentiality regarding legal matters Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as desks, computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, and filing cabinets. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak, read, or hear. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. IND2
