Rarebreed Veterinary Partners is Hiring a Kennel Attendant Near Cumberland, ME
Cumberland Animal Clinic is seeking a dedicated animal lover to join our team as a Kennel Attendant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Keeping cages clean and sanitized
- Various housekeeping duties (laundry, dishes, taking out garbage etc.).
- Walking, feeding, and picking up after the animals
- Interacting with cats
- Occasional bathing
Requirements:
- Must be friendly and outgoing as you will be interacting with clients on a daily basis
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs and be willing and able to safely restrain or move dogs of all sizes including dogs that are over 100 pounds.
- Must be flexible with hours and available to work weekends
- Must be comfortable standing, walking and being active for most of the day
- Must be able to handle excited dogs who may bark and jump
