Rarebreed Veterinary Partners is Hiring a Client Service Representative Near Mechanicsburg, PA

Do you have excellent customer service skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment? Do you want to work with an amazing team of individuals who support each other like family?

Good Hope Animal Hospital is seeking a highly motivated, positive, out-going, energetic, hard-working individual with excellent communication, listening and telephone skills to join our Front Office Team of Animal Care Coordinators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ability to manage current CSRs and train new CSRs
  • Modify and update systems and procedures wherever needed to better serve clients and patients
  • Oversee client flow to ensure that clients and patients are seen and treated in a professional, timely, and competent manner
  • Answers telephone calls quickly, efficiently, and in a professional and friendly manner using a multi-line system
  • Calm and level emotions during times of stress
  • Displaying confidence
  • Prepares patient files
  • Receives and relays client correspondence and updates client financial records
  • Customer service skills, and proven aptitude for client conflict resolution
  • Educates clients on over-the-counter products such as flea and tick preventions
  • Admits patients and handles medical records entries accurately
  • Prepares client invoices for services performed
  • Handles payment transactions.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and side by side with staff
  • Receives and relays telephone, fax, and email messages accurately and promptly

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience working as a Veterinary Receptionist/CSR ispreferred but not required
  • Previous Veterinary Technician is highly preferred
  • Significant experience with basic office functions in a busy office environment
  • Must be a team player and have compassion for pets and their people
