Phlebotomist I/Greeter

This is for FMLA coverage M-F: 6:30m-3:00pm, alternate Saturday shifts

Description:

• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities of the Patient Service Center /Mobile/In-office Phlebotomy accurately and on time. Maintain a safe and professional environment. Performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures. Maintains required records and documentation. Demonstrates organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public in general.

Phlebotomy Certification required; if in CA, then California Phlebotomy Technician Certification required.
Minimum educational requirement is a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
Candidates need to be fully vaccinated for COVID 19. Training on site, 2 months after the mandatory Virtual training with our training specialist. Information will be provided.

• Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

• Must have reliable transportation.

• Training locations may vary based on trainer availability- up to 3 hours away.

Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification Required

Work Experience:

• Minimum of 6 months experience.
• One( ) years phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $23.13 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
