A rapidly growing industry leading HVAC developer is looking for a Systems Engineer to join their team near Rochester, New York. This company is projected to double in size over the next 5 years. They currently have equipment being used in the medical field, homeland security, oil & gas, and NFL broadcasting. This Engineer will assist with system application design to ensure it meets customer specification and design requirements.
The salary is commensurate with experience up to $105K plus an annual bonus and excellent health & retirement benefits.

responsibilities:

• HVAC and Refrigeration system design including compressor, blower, fan, and valve selection
• System control scheme design
• Psychrometric load calculations
• Refrigeration system troubleshooting
• Performs new project design and development; updates previous designs in compliance with company quality process
• Review Customer Specifications and design to meet requirements
• Provides technical support and documentation during the development of unit owner's and operator's manuals
• Assists Sales with developing cost estimates for Request For Quotations
• Assembling submittal data/drawing packages for customer's approval
