job summary:
Manufacturing company in Morgan Hill, CA, specializing in electric mechanisms, is looking for a CAD Designer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Mechanical Engineering from four-year college or university; or two years related experience and/or training and is proficient in Solidworks and/or Inventor. This is a temp to perm position.

responsibilities:

• Work within engineering programs to review, correct, create, and release ECN's, drawings, documents, and CAD models.
• Utilizing Inventor and Solid Works 3D software, draft detailed working drawings of products and associated components.
• Draft multiple views of assemblies, sub-assemblies, layouts, wiring diagrams and associated bills of material. Show dimensions, materials to be used and other information necessary to make drawings clear and complete.

Requirements for the CAD Designer

• BSME or 2 years of relevant experience drafting.
• Proficient with MS Office including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• AutoCAD, 3d Inventor, or Solidworks software experience required
