Responsibilities
- Translate Business requirements into data flow and process flow models
- Create database objects such as tables, views, stored procedures, Triggers etc.
- Performance tuning.
- Participate in discussions involving the application creation and understand the requirements and provide the back-end functionality for the applications
- Reverse engineer current codebase and identify opportunities for performance improvements and optimization
Required Skills:
- 4 - 6 years of relevant experience on Oracle (preferably Exadata) database development. Should have expertise in writing and decomposing complex SQL Queries, Stored Procedures, views and functions.
- 5 - 8 years of experience on ETL, Data wrangling and analysis
- Well versed with concepts of query optimization, indexing, partitioning, table designing and leverage for processes improvements
- Analytical, Debugging and Design skills, with hands on experience
- Excellent communication and business analysis skills
- Knowledge of Finance Regulatory Reporting domain
- Good to have: Full stack technology development with exposure to Python
