Business Intelligence (BI) / ERP Analyst

RAM Windows is an exciting and rapidly growing manufacturer and distributor of residential and commercial windows and doors. Since 1978, RAM has been the premier aluminum window and door manufacturer in Texas. Today, RAM is aggressively growing both their physical footprint (i.e., having expanded into Dallas and Austin) and their menu of product offerings. The Company has seen rapid growth in customer demand and is positioned in three of the hottest housing markets in the country. The BI Analyst will immediately play an integral role in the maintenance and continuing development of an industry-specific ERP system. This individual will be one of the main contact points for the various post-live implementation and maintenance procedures necessary. They will advise on best practices for the effective and efficient use of said ERP, while simultaneously becoming a subject matter expert in the content and tools necessary to maintain and maximize its capabilities. On a longer-term basis, this individual will assist others in the department with maintaining and further cultivating the Company’s overall technological footprint, along with our third-party managed service provider. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of the manufacturing environment and an ability to translate real world problems to system-based solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

This individual will be an integral piece in post-live optimization and maintenance. This will include, but not be limited to:

• Analyze user’s needs to provide solutions to complex problems.
• Work effectively within and across ERP/Finance/HR, business operations, and IT teams to execute projects and roadmap items.
• With an in-depth understanding of the data, make suggestions which result in meaningful outcomes based on the findings and criteria of the users.
• Design recurring or ad-hoc reports, data extracts and dashboards.
• Present alternative BI solutions, using creative-thinking expertise and solution prototypes, to ensure effective reporting/analysis.
• Identifying digital transformation opportunities to solve business needs.
• Keep abreast of trends and best practices in the industry to strengthen organizational and technical knowledge as it relates to business intelligence.
• Be a catalyst for innovation and growth within business operations.
• Communicate cross-functionally to understand the information-based needs of the various departments. This includes gathering, analyzing and translating functional requirements into technical design documents.
• Systems testing and error resolution.
• Utilizing outstanding people management skills, including ability to collaborate with peers and various levels of personnel.
• Assisting with planning and conducting training classes for end users.
• Proactively manage relationship between external and internal stakeholders.
• Perform risk assessments to develop response strategies.
• Submit project deliverables, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems or related Business Process Management discipline, Computer Science, Engineering or related field. Consideration for equivalent combination of education and work experience within Information Systems
• Proficient in SQL programming
• Proven experience supporting cross-functional teams
• Strong Microsoft Office applications knowledge
• IT infrastructure / systems management experience preferred (2 years)
• Manufacturing / shop floor experience preferred (2 years)

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 annually (DOE)
