Description

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator role is driven by growth and success of the credit union. This position will provide support for all administrative recruitment and onboarding-related activities within the human resources department. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for sourcing, screening, and recommending candidates for entry level positions. Talent Acquisition Coordinator will plan and implement company talent acquisition social media strategy. All activities must follow Equal Employment Opportunity laws, HIPAA, ERISA and other regulations, as appropriate. This person must understand, model, and represent NACCUs CUPRIDE value proposition.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Handles and prioritizes multiple ranges of advanced administrative duties requiring lateral thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Provides administrative support for full-cycle recruitment and onboarding processes, from requisition initiation to new-hire status.
  • Assists with identifying issues affecting recruitment and implementing recruitment activities to continuously improve process.
  • Support new hire and onboarding processes.
  • Conducts employment related research; sourcing candidates using social media channels.
  • Reviews and pre-screens applications for entry level positions.
  • Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials for pre-screening candidates.
  • Tracks reporting trends and provides recommendations based on important key metrics, such as turnover and time-to-fill.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly reporting for various stakeholders and Sr. Leaders.
  • Attends and participates in job fairs, community activities, and other public and departmental recruitment-related events.
  • Maintains organization chart and requisition workflow reporting.
  • Coordinates recruitment special projects including but not limited to; onboarding, internship programs, diversity initiatives, recruitment marketing for attracting top talent.
  • Perform a variety of other tasks as necessary to support the HR team and carry out day-to-day responsibilities.

Supervise Approximately: None

Reports To: VP of HR

Contacts:Frequent contact with all credit union staff, outside HR vendors, Managers and applicants.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Most important to this position is confidentiality, human relation skills, especially the ability to communicate effectively with others, be detail oriented and work independently. Incumbent must demonstrate proficient oral and written communications and time management skills. Must demonstrate considerable tact and diplomacy to build and maintain professional relationships with staff and outside HR vendors.

EDUCATION

  • Associate degree or 64 semester hours
  • comparable work experience will be accepted in lieu of degree

EXPERIENCE

  • Two (2) years of administrative support experience
  • One (1) year of sourcing, screening, or recruiting
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Preferred experience in online/social media recruiting

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Physical requirements are minimal; however, position involves wrist/hand manipulation; frequent viewing of computer/PC monitor; ability to talk, hear, stand, sit, walk, bend, stoop and reach overhead. Must have the ability to lift up to 20 lbs.

EQUIPMENT SKILLS

Personal computer with proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including but not limited to Word, Excel and Outlook. Additionally, calculator, copy machine/fax machine and scanner. HRIS experience is preferred.
