Radio Systems Corporation is seeking a highly talented Content Strategy Manager for our Creative Services Marketing Team! The Content Strategy Manager will drive the vision of impactful, cohesive content across a variety of touchpoints (digital and print) that tells strong brand stories while building a full, compelling journey for the customer. The Product Content Manager leads a team of content creators across several copy disciplines, ensuring these varied touchpoints come together for a positive customer experience while driving desired business results. The person in this role encourages growth and development within the team for the benefit of the individual and the organization. The Product Content Manager also works closely with other teams to ensure the content strategy comes together effectively across a myriad of touchpoints to build a Brand connection with target customers.

The Ideal candidate will: 

  • Manage & develop a team of content creators, directly help team members in development including training, goals, growth, and succession planning 
  • Understand each Brands’ strategy and utilize that to create & manage a content strategy that maps out asset intent and ensures all applicable touchpoints are working towards improving the customer experience and driving agreed upon results as defined in the Operations Plan
  • Drive content creation across a variety of touchpoints that span kitbox, product detail pages, in-box manuals, and online customer support content to ensure these touchpoints speak to the customer journey in a branded and channel way
  • Present concepts for customer content journeys to gain alignment and build understanding across teams
  • Understand the customers’ needs and expectations for our products and services using methods such as participation in customer intercepts, reviewing data from our Data Analytics & UX/UI team reviewing research and online reviews, store walk throughs and listening to customer calls in Customer Care Center
  • Ensure content is hitting key objectives – (ie. – branded appropriately, digital content has appropriate SEO value, all content drives sales conversion, messaging hierarchies are considered & upheld)
  • Partner with media and design teams within Creative Services department to bring content to life
  • Manage multiple content deliverables in relation to marketing and product development schedules. Create production schedules, maintain workflows and prioritize workload to meet deadlines for all projects. 
  • Pro-actively communicate with team members or key contacts to push for gated items, work to solve challenges or share at-risk tasks when necessary
  • Thought leadership on responsible areas through researching current customer & content trends while communicating these trends to key stakeholders 
  • Review and critique content work for brand, channel and content strategy accuracy across responsible areas
  • Mentor/ train current and new Content Creators on departmental procedures, brand guidelines and software updates
  • Maintain a fun, collaborative team environment

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, writing or related creative field preferred
  • 5 years experience in customer facing content development 
  • 3 years leadership experience with direct report responsibilities 
  • Understanding of Digital & Traditional Marketing tactics 
  • Strong conceptualization & storytelling skills 
  • Demonstrated project management experience with proven ability to meet project deadlines
  • Experience with content organization and delivery
  • Self-directing with a strong work ethic; drive for results
