Radiant Smiles is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Rocky Hill, CT

Come join our enthusiastic team! Comprehensive general dental office in Rocky Hill is looking for a dental assistant to provide excellent customer service and patient care. We reward top communication and organization skills, as well as the ability to be a true team player on a small, cohesive team of professionals. Experience with Dentrix and digital x-rays are a plus. Weekdays only. Monday through Thursday, no nights or weekends. MINIMUM OF 1 YEAR OF CURRENT DENTAL ASSISTING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.

Benefits include: 401k, Medical Insurance, Continuing Education.

Dental Assistant duties include:

  • Preparing exam rooms, sterilizing instruments and ensuring necessary equipment is ready for dentists
  • Assisting dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating needs
  • Taking and processing X-rays of patients
  • Processing lab work for the dentist
  • Greeting patients as they arrive and scheduling appointments
  • Advising patients on recommended oral hygiene and treatment
  • Updating and maintaining dental records
  • Handling general administrative and other duties to maintain the dental office

Dental Assistant Requirements:

  • 1 year of dental assisting experience
  • DANB'S Infection Control Certification in the state of CT
  • X-ray/BLS certifications

Full-time 32 to 36 hours a week
