RACETRAC is Hiring a Compensation Analyst Near Atlanta, GA

RaceTrac Company Overview Job Description: The Compensation Analyst helps support the organization’s compensation infrastructure by providing the necessary analytics and compensation metrics needed to support organizational objectives. Responsibilities: • • Researches and keeps up-to-date with compensation industry and market trends. Understands and communicates the possible effects/ impacts to the organization. • Makes recommendations for potential new compensation tools/salary guides that will aid in external compensation benchmarking. • Collaborates with department leaders, hiring managers, and other leaders to determine type, scope, and purpose of analyses needed for business decisions. • Creates, revises, and maintains various compensation planning tools. • Analyzes, catalogues, and participates in external compensation surveys. • Conducts FLSA (Fair Labor Standards Act) analyses and makes recommendations for the FLSA status for new and existing positions. • Works with Talent Acquisition and Hiring Managers to evaluate job duties and responsibilities for new positions and provides benchmarking information and recommendations. • Conducts annual analytical projects, such as Annual Compensation Review including analysis of Annual Increases, Market Adjustments, AIC bonus payments and Spot analysis to highlight trends. • Researches projected salary increases each year and provides insight into the salary budget proposal. • Provides ad-hoc market data information to leaders upon request. • Analyzes data and processes and provides suggestions for enhancement to current plans and programs. • Assists Senior Manager of Compensation with ad-hoc compensation projects as necessary. • Support role for Payroll team. Cross training in various payroll functions. Qualifications: • MS Office Suite, with intermediate Excel knowledge preferred • Experience in multiple Human Resources functions preferred • PHR certification a plus
