About This Job

As a Project Surveyor you will be responsible for supervising projects and keeping the scope of work in line with the client’s expectations. A Project Surveyor will be the main point of contact to assist with problems troubleshooting and finding solutions. Project Surveyors are required to mentor and teach the support team.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Assist in land surveying of multiple sites and projects.
• Lead a survey team in processing and verification of survey data, preparation of survey drawings, legal descriptions and exhibits.
• Effectively map out projects dedicating required time and resources to complete the project.
• Help develop project objectives, schedules and budgets by reviewing project proposals, plans and client requirements.
• Help to maintain project schedule and budget by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities and resolving problems.
• Review title commitments and have a working knowledge of interpreting Schedule B-2 exceptions for legal surveys.
• Manage the submittal, review and approval processes through local jurisdictions.
• Work with the ultimate goal in mind of creating value for the client and foster favorable relationships with those clients.

Qualifications

Understanding of Surveying procedures and practices, including the preparation of legal descriptions, ALTA/NSPS surveys, topographic surveys, field surveying, and land platting.

• Licensed PLS
• 5 years of experience.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD software including Civil 3D.,
• Knowledge of Trimble Business Center (TBC)
• Clean driving recordand valid Colorado driver’s license.
