The Opportunity

Supplier.io is growing and we are looking for an experienced Human Resources Director who enjoys both the strategic and daily transactional duties of the Human Resources function. In this position you will also use your expertise to drive and implement a variety of strategic initiatives including talent succession planning, performance management, employee engagement, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging initiatives, and help evolve our workforce transformation strategy. The Human Resource Director will also lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources including hiring and interviewing staff, onboarding, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.

What You Will Do

  • Talent Acquisition - Performs the talent acquisition process: proactive and strategic recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, for managerial, professional, technical and administrative roles.
  • Onboarding – Performs all onboarding steps, new hire paperwork, orientation, company training, and other steps.
  • Benefits – Administration of new enrollments, open enrollments, and changes. Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
  • Training and Development - Collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for current and future position staffing. Utilizes this information to develop training programs for new hires, current employees, career paths, cross training, and other internal programs.
  • Performance Management – Administers performance management process. Analyzes outcomes for current needs, future growth, and gaps in skills and competencies in staffing.
  • Performs and/or participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Performs complex, specialized, and sensitive tasking as issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, Management or Related Field
  • Certification in Human Resources
  • 10 years Human Resources combined experience
  • 5 years’ experience working in a Private Equity company, SaaS, Technology, or in a similar field preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficiency with various HRIS and talent management systems.
