Quigg Engineering (QEI) was formed in 2006, and is a respected fast growing, multi-disciplined engineering and surveying firm providing outstanding services in Illinois, Missouri, Wisconsin, Iowa, Indiana, and Florida. Specializing in roadway, surveying, site development, construction inspection, environmental studies, bridges, structures & permitting, and transportation. Our clients include state DOTs, toll authorities, local agencies, utilities, and private developers
Responsibilities:
· Perform the planning and design of roadway projects
· Lead the preparation of plans, specifications and estimates for a variety of projects
· Work on assignments from Project Manger
· Interact with public and private clients
· Assist with client development
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
· Registered Licensed Professional Engineer in Illinois or ability to obtain through reciprocity
· 4-10 years of experience in one or more of the following technical areas: roadway geometrics, site design, stormwater design, hydraulic analysis, or traffic signal layouts.
· Willingness to learn Microstation/Geopak Open Roads Designer and/or AutoCAD/Civil 3D
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
· Experience with state DOT or municipal projects is a plus
