At QuickChek, the role of a Food Service Specialist is to demonstrate and lead the food service team during the shift to achieve store objectives, maintain safety and operating procedures while providing our customers with our highest food standards and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Prepare and serve high quality, made to order food and beverage items in a timely manner
  • Prepare and stock “grab and go” food and beverage products including warmer snacks, bakery items, and refrigerated products
  • Assist in monitoring inventory levels of products and supplies
  • Maintain cleanliness of food service and coffee areas
  • Train new FS Associates and delegate work on assigned shift
  • Other duties/responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
  • 1 year of prior food service experience preferred
  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • Ability to work with and lead a team
  • Ability to communicate and engage in friendly conversations with customers and team members
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Timely arrival & excellent attendance record
Physical Requirements:
