Position Summary

Provides excellent customer service by preparing and serving menu items. Creates the "WOW" experience for guests of Quest. Food Service Worker I will have 1-2 years in Food Service; regular direction in completing tasks; general food prep, cleaning and service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Cascades the vision of Quest Food Management Services ensuring the Quest vision, values and founding principles are effectively communicated, understood and practiced.

* Demonstrates commitment to Quest vision, values and missions through actions on a daily basis.

* Set up deli bar after slicing meats and cheeses

* Prep pizzas for the day set up the station and serve

* Prep salad bar, set up salad bar, maintain and replenish through meal periods

* Set up and maintain the sweet station with cookies, cakes, fruit parfaits, milk shakes, smoothies.

* Cut fresh fruits

* Maintain accurate temperature logs

* Food safety/sanitation practices

Job Requirements/Specifications

Education and Experience: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Required:

* High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience

* Minimum of 1 year experience in a cash handling position

* Ability to perform simple arithmetic as well as to understand measurements and conversions

* Responsible for meeting and maintaining state and local certification requirements (Food Handler certification)

Preferred:

* Previous experience in the food service industry working in schools / higher education
