Position Summary
Provides excellent customer service by preparing and serving menu items.

Food Service Worker Responsibilities
  • Set up deli bar after slicing meats and cheeses
  • Prep pizzas for the day set up the station and serve
  • Prep salad bar, set up salad bar, maintain and replenish through meal periods
  • Set up and maintain the sweet station with cookies, cakes, fruit parfaits, milk shakes, smoothies.
  • Food safety/sanitation practices

Food Service Worker Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a cash handling position
  • Ability to perform simple arithmetic as well as to understand measurements and conversions
  • Responsible for meeting and maintaining state and local certification requirements (Food Handler certification)
  • Previous experience in the food service industry working in schools / higher education
