If you are seeking a new opportunity, with a clear career path, come join a team that is committed to, “Quality first, people and safety always”.This position is responsible for the management of the Company’s financial reporting while ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and U.S. Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) rules and regulation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Manage the Company’s periodic filings with the SEC, i.e., Forms 10-Q/K and 8-K · Manage the planning and execution of annual and interim financial statements preparation, in accordance with GAAP standards · Prepare and perform a detailed technical review of working papers for financial statements and footnote disclosures for accuracy and completeness · Maintain high level knowledge of GAAP, including new accounting standards, SEC rules and regulations · Perform review of the eXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) process · Assist in the monitoring and reporting of key metrics on a monthly basis, including adjusted EBITDA· Serve as a liaison with external auditors to address complex financial reporting and audit matters · Develop and maintain expertise with the Company’s use of SEC reporting application tool· Provide timely recommendations on complex accounting and financial reporting matters to senior management and other key stakeholders across the organization · Drive continuous improvement by identifying, developing, and implementing process and system solutions; monitor accounting procedures, propose automation opportunities, analyze results, and research discrepancies · Other duties as assigned Supervisory Job Duties:· Carries out supervisory duties in accordance with the Company’s objectives, policies, and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, planning, assigning, and directing work, interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing employee concerns, and partnering with Human Resources to resolve escalated employee matters. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.Education: · Bachelor’sdegree in accounting or finance from a four-year college or university· Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Experience: · Seven years of professional accounting experience · Strong knowledge of current SEC reporting rules and regulations· Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting rules · Big 4 public or regional public accounting experience preferred · Public accounting and industry experience preferred · One or more year of supervisory or management experience Technical Skills:· Computer and Microsoft Office proficiency · Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills · Experience using Workiva preferred · Proficiency with and/or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s systems and software Soft Skills:· Highly organized and detail orientated · Strong verbal and written communication skills · Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams· Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines · Ability to think analytically, apply sound judgement, and solve problems · Ability to lead, teach, train, and motivate staff Physical Requirements: · Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing· Must have a valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets Company requirements· Sitting at a desk for 6-8 hours a day· Working on a computer for 6-8 hours a day · May be required to work long and unpredictable hours· Travel up to 10% of the time, including short notice travelEmployee Benefits:QualTek takes pride in providing a comprehensive employee benefits program that meets employee needs and ensures a level of security and protection.
