QUALITY VISION INTERNATIONAL is Hiring an Electronic Assembler Near Rochester, NY

Description

 Under the guidance of the Electronics Manufacturing Supervisor, the Electronics Assembler performs the following functions:

  • Interpret wiring diagrams and build electrical assemblies based on these blueprints.
  • Operate and maintain shop equipment and hand tools used in assembling cables, harnesses and electro-mechanical assemblies.
  • Operate and maintain solder wave equipment.
  • Meet supply on demand mission of the department.

Requirements

Position Responsibilities/Requirements 

  • Build Cable and other Electronic assemblies while ensuring compliance with IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards. 
  • Identify, document, and work with the Electronics Manufacturing Engineer to eliminate quality issues and drawing errors discovered. 
  • Familiarity with, and the ability to read and interpret cable drawings, interconnects and specification drawings. 
  • Demonstrated ability to use soldering iron while adhering to IPC-J-STD-001 in the production of wiring assemblies. 
  • Ability to use basic electronic test equipment including digital multi-meters, buzz lights, and power supplies. 
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Depending on position with the Assembler category, 0-10 years work experience in the electronics field
