Who We Are Looking For 

Our organization is currently seeking a Full-Time RN Supervisor to join our care team. In this role, this position manages, supervises, coordinates, evaluates, and develops client care teams to ensure quality care delivery and appropriate case management within the Agency's scope of services and policies; state, federal, and local laws, and Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
  • Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Nevada 
  • Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience in an acute hospital setting or equivalent experience with one-year of supervisory experience 
  • Complies with accepted professional standards and practice
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, critical thinking, organized and knowledgeable
  • Knowledge of home care federal and state regulations
  • Familiar with reimbursement sources and documentation requirements within home health care
  • Must be a licensed driver with automobile insurance coverage in accordance with state requirements and safe driving history 
  • Capable of clearing background check
  • Provide the required documentation in order to complete the I-9 form as required by Department of Homeland Security

Summary of Essential Functions/Areas of Accountability

  • Manages and directs a team of Nurse Case Managers ensuring safe, effective, and appropriate home care services
  • Initiation of MD orders and communication to RN Case Managers
  • Is available at all times during regular business hours and as needed to provide support and assure quality care delivery to home care clients
  • Receives referrals, determines services required, and Agency's ability to meet needs. Assigns appropriate clinician cases
  • Meets with Case Managers/Clinical Staff on a regular basis to provide guidance and information related to specific issues
  • Provides direction to clinical staff to assure that clients needs are met and services are provided according to the plan of care
  • Attends case conference and other clinical meetings to facilitate coordination of care
  • Provides on-call services as scheduled
  • Reviews OASIS data collection to assure accuracy and consistency with requirements
  • Promotes personal safety and a safe environment for clients and co-workers
  • Demonstrates knowledge of safety/infection control practices by compliance with policies and procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Recognizes and responds appropriately to potential unsafe conditions
  • Performs other duties as directed
