Quadrint, Inc. is Hiring a Senior Software Developer (SOA) Near Annapolis Junction, MD
Quadrint is seeking a Senior Software Developer (SOA) in the Annapolis Junction, MD area.A qualified candidate will perform the following duties and responsibilities, but are not limited to:
- Operate independently to provide quality work products to an engagement.
- Perform varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement products and technology to meet customer needs.
- Apply methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.
- May lead the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget.
- May act as the team lead on projects, providing coaching, guidance and feedback to develop skills of team members.
- Effectively consults with management of customer organizations.
- Participate in business development activities.
- Develop and lead detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.
Active/current TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree on related field (or 8 years of equivalent work experience).
- 6-8 years of experience relevant to this position, including 3-4 years consulting experience preferred.
- Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to build rapport with team members and clients.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- An experienced consulting professional who has a broad understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family.
- Demonstrates expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements.
- 8 or more years experience of Oracle SOA.
- 8 or more years experience of Oracle Weblogic.
- Web service development experience using Oracle SOA suite (BPEL, and OSB) or any other equivalent technology for the middleware integration such JAVA etc.
- Familiarity with XML, WSDL, SOAP etc.
- Experience developing web services, SOAP and RESTful, deployed in a SOA environment.
- Strong analytical troubleshooting and performance evaluation skills.
- Must be an effective team member with strong communications skills and the ability to follow-through, stay motivated, and collaborate with all team members.
- Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teams
- Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.
