Quadrint is seeking a Database Administrator in the Washington, DC area.
A qualified candidate will perform the following duties and responsibilities, but are not limited to:
Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate AWS RDS databases.
Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing, and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management.
Manage database management systems (DBMS) on AWS and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.
Deploying multi-AZ RDS systems with high performance.
Database Encryption at rest and in transit.
Configuring the parameter group.
Managing IP traffic using a security group.
Auditing the database log files.
Maintenance and management activities.
Planning backup and recovery strategies.
User management.
Monitoring the database.
Security Clearance Requirement: Active/current Top Secret clearance is required.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of experience.
AWS RDS Experience with Aurora, Postgres, MySQL, Oracle, and MS SQL Servers.
Advanced experience in Relational Database Management System (RDBMS), Oracle DBA, and AWS Relational Database Service.
Some experience with AWS Aurora and AWS Database Migration Service.
