Mountain Alarm Fire and Security, a Pye-Barker company, is currently hiring for a Fire Alarm Technician in our Helena, Montana branch. Position Summary: The Fire Alarm Technician position is for dedicated individuals seeking growth within the fire industry. The ideal candidate will be a responsible, self-starter capable of conducting routine installations, provide servicing, and inspection of fire alarms. Duties & Responsibilities: Installation, service, and inspection of fire alarms and associated systems System testing and inspecting to the prescribed standards Provide on-site emergency troubleshooting and repairs of customers security equipment Preparing accurate and timely service tickets and reports Ensuring a high level of customer service, satisfaction, and communication Maintains a clean and safe work environment on and off site Interface successfully with Administration, Sales, Customers, and Management within the company Perform other duties as assigned Education & Required Skills: High School Diploma / GED required Previous experience and / or NICET certification preferred Ability to install, inspect, or service fire alarms Familiarity with one or more of the following product lines; Honeywell, DSC, Napco, Hikvision, Keyscan, Door King, Firelite, Silent Knight, DMP preferred Exemplary customer service skills to deal with both internal and external customers Excellent written and verbal communication skills Basic computer knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office Suite Ability to work with small tool and equipment Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well organized Must have clean driving record and a valid Driver's License Must read and speak English Benefits and Perks: Excellent pay Medical, dental, vision Company paid life insurance Company paid short term disability 401K with employer match Paid vacation and company holidays Company vehicle (if job applicable) Compensation Range: : $0.00 - $0.00
