Warehouse Manager Responsibilities:

• Manage warehouse personnel.
• Oversee and maintain accurate inventory counts.
• Prepare reports, shipping documentation and freight quotes as needed.
• Compares shipments to office records or computes figures from records, such as sales orders, production records, or purchase invoices to audit billing vs quoted costs.
• Load and unload delivery trucks and physically receive goods into the warehouse (forklift certification required – you will be certified in-house).
• Help design and maintain proper warehouse layout and flow.
• Rotate stock as required.
• Pack and seal material shipments.
• Operate office machines, such as a computer, label makers, or calculator.
• Maintain clean and uncluttered workspaces throughout the shift.
• Assists in the flow of production as needed by supervisors and/or managers.
• Other related duties as required.
• Follow and maintain an inventory tracking system to optimize inventory control procedures.
• Examine the levels of supplies and raw material to determine shortages.
• Document daily deliveries and shipments to update inventory.
• Track supplies to avoid inefficiencies or excessive surplus.
• Assign and deliver material and products to a department and collaborate with other departments on the timeframe to do.

Job Requirements:

• 5 years of shipping experience.
• Ability to pass forklift certification.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Supervising / Management.
• Solid knowledge of data analysis, inventory software, and forecasting techniques.
• An analytical mind with strong attention to detail.
• Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, lift, and sit for extended time periods.
• Ability to routinely lift 50 pounds or more unassisted.
• Ability to perform basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
• Good communication skills both written and oral.
• Detail-oriented.
• Physical and Manual Dexterity.

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Prior shipping experience
• Full-Time Position working (5) 8-hour days, Monday through Friday

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $47,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
