JOB SUMMARY:

We are currently seeking a full-time Shift Supervisor for our Williston location. The preferred candidate will have leadership skills, retail experience, integrity and excellent interpersonal skills.

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations and the dispensary team in their success. Assists with supervising the daily operations of the dispensary including sales, cash handling processes, customer service, and regulatory compliance. This position assumes all duties of a key-holding supervisor related to opening and closing duties, cash handling and inventory management.

The Shift Supervisor will serve as one of the main points of contact for patient related inquiries (service and product feedback), product trends, and must collaborate with management to help maintain a high team morale. This role should lead by example by being the ultimate illustration of service, dedication, pace, and energy.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide an exceptional customer experience for patients by listening and responding to patient needs.
• Helps ensure all the daily tasks of the department get properly executed.
• Provides product knowledge on medicating options, methods, and strain information.
• Assist at any cash register when required.
• Promotes a work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, and compliant with established laws and regulations and Company policies and procedures.
• Assist in the consultation of patients to ensure that the employee is empowered and informed on the right product choices by being knowledgeable about how different methods of cannabis consumption affect our patients differently
• Complete tasks assigned during scheduled shift, including:
  • Correct cash handling and discount application
  • Verification of proper paperwork, documentation, and ID for patients
  • Accurate use and maintenance of the Point of Sale (POS) system
  • Accurate and timely data entry of patient profiles in both the POS system and the regulatory electronic verification systems
  • Assistance in verifying order deliveries for accuracy
  • Maintenance of an organized and clean store
  • Opening and closing duties

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Exceptional customer service skills, must have the ability to engage with people with a positive attitude
• Minimum of two years of retail experience with cash handling experience
• Extremely high attention to detail and accuracy
• Computer skills
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work evenings and Saturdays
• Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality are required
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, exhibiting a high level of integrity and trustworthiness.
• Clean, professional appearance and hygiene

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with opening/closing procedures of a retail business, prior key-holding experience
• Inventory management experience
• Cannabis knowledge or cannabis industry experience.

Applicants must be a minimum of 21 years old. Must be able to pass an extensive state-mandated background check, no felonies allowed. Clean driving record required. Valid driver's license required along with reliable transportation.
