Job Title: Insurance Verification Associate
PAYRATE: $16.00-$19.00
A unique opportunity with an expanding organization! Join a growing team that works in a diversified environment learning multiple EMR/EHR and Practice Management systems. We collaborate with providers across the country to provide cardiovascular testing as an all-in-one service, with a billing team located at the corporate office. We are looking for a friendly, reliable individual with a self-starter approach and a team-player attitude
Our corporate office is in Middlebury, CT. This is an on-site position, M-F 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
Benefits: Medical insurance offered after 30 days as well as company paid group life insurance. Employee can elect additional coverage. PTO accrual begins upon date of hire, 120 hours for first year of employment and is available for use after 90-day orientation period. 6 paid holidays each year. Requirements:
Responsibilities: Under general supervision, the Insurance Verification Associate is responsible for: verifying insurance eligibility and benefits; providing accurate cost estimations; identifying prior-authorization requirements and obtaining prior-authorizations; communication with other team members; make and receive phone calls to health plans; performs other billing related duties to assist in revenue cycle management.
