Job Title: Insurance Verification Associate

PAYRATE: $16.00-$19.00

A unique opportunity with an expanding organization! Join a growing team that works in a diversified environment learning multiple EMR/EHR and Practice Management systems. We collaborate with providers across the country to provide cardiovascular testing as an all-in-one service, with a billing team located at the corporate office. We are looking for a friendly, reliable individual with a self-starter approach and a team-player attitude

Our corporate office is in Middlebury, CT. This is an on-site position, M-F 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

PTO accrual begins upon date of hire, 120 hours for first year of employment and is available for use after 90-day orientation period. 6 paid holidays each year. Requirements:

• Attention to detail and strong analytical ability
• Insurance verification and interpretation of health benefits – 1 year
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records
• Microsoft office/spreadsheet skills
• Familiarity with CPT, ICD-10 codes, health insurance portals
• Document creation/uploading
• Verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities: Under general supervision, the Insurance Verification Associate is responsible for: verifying insurance eligibility and benefits; providing accurate cost estimations; identifying prior-authorization requirements and obtaining prior-authorizations; communication with other team members; make and receive phone calls to health plans; performs other billing related duties to assist in revenue cycle management.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
